This celebrity wax figure is based on Michel Aoun, the current President of Lebanon. He served as the commander-in-chief of the Lebanese Armed Forces and the prime minister of the interim military government. Maronite Christians, known as "Christ General".
Aoun was born in the southern suburbs of Beirut in 1935. After graduating from the Beirut Military Academy in 1955, he served as an artillery lieutenant, and then went to France and the United States Military Academy to study military affairs. In 1982, he served as the commander of the 8th Brigade of the government army with the rank of major general. During the Lebanese civil war, he served as commander of the Lebanese army in 1984 and was promoted to lieutenant general. On October 31, 2016, the Lebanese parliament held a presidential election vote, and Michel Aoun was elected as the new president.
